The FUOCOMUORTO farm is located in Ercolano, in the province of Naples, in the Croce dei Monti district, which climbs the slopes of Vesuvius, at a height of 350/400 meters above sea level, in the heart of the Vesuvius National Park.

The company extends over 3 hectares of land, of which 2 hectares are vineyards and 1 hectare is olive grove.

Two and a half hectares of land are intended for viticulture, which extends over several terraces obtained by building masonry works that allow for practically constant exposure to the sun throughout the day. It is therefore located on a medium hill, characterized by a mild climate, well ventilated, without stagnation of spring and summer humidity, with soils of volcanic origin, well structured, the right degree of sunshine and rainfall.

The transformation concerns only the grapes of the company’s production and takes place in suitable premises, while the conservation and maturation of the wine in the bottle takes place in a natural cave, dug under a slab of volcanic rock at 4/5 meters deep, where temperature and humidity are almost constant throughout the year, dug in 1780.
